The Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure submits to preliminary consultation of all interested parties (operators, public administrations, the National Commission of Markets and Competition and other agents) the preliminary list of white and gray areas NGA, drawn up from the Information available on the coverage of new generation broadband networks (NGA networks).
The objective of the consultation is to consolidate this preliminary identification to obtain the definitive list of NGA white areas and NGA gray areas, in which, in accordance with the State aid regulations, it is possible to grant public aid throughout 2020 to carrying out projects to extend NGA network coverage in these areas.
To facilitate the location and analysis of the areas, geographic layer files are provided in kmz, shape and filegdb formats that enable their treatment from any georeferenced information system (GIS) and a web application with a cartographic viewer with various types of maps on which both the NGA white zone layer and the NGA gray zone layer can be displayed at the provincial level.
In the information on the web page of the viewer you can consult a user manual with the description of the different functionalities of the application.
